Crystals and Healing
Crystals have been used for thousands of years to heal and bring balance. They work through resonance and vibration. Crystals contain minerals that are known for their therapeutic properties. Shaman and ancient healers used crystals for holistic healing, affecting the physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual levels of being. Generally, crystals relate by colors to the different chakras on the body. Sometimes stones can support multiple chakras or have a range of benefits affecting the body, mind, and spirit. When searching for a stone, you can pick one that jumps out at you. Most times the stone that calls out to you has something to offer you in the way of support or guidance.
A Guide to Chakras and Crystals
Crown Chakra - White, Clear, Translucent Stones The Crown, 7th chakra, is located at the top of the head. It represents states of higher consciousness and divine connection. Imbalanced attributes would be cynicism, disregarding what is sacred, closed-mindedness, and disconnection with spirit.
Third Eye Chakra - Purple, Lavender Stones The Third Eye, 6th chakra, is located in the center of the forehead, between the eyebrows. It represents intuition, foresight, and is driven by openness and imagination. Imbalanced attributes would be a lack of direction and lack of clarity.
Throat Chakra - Blues, Turquoise, Aqua Stones Throat, 5th chakra, is located at the center of the neck. It represents the ability to speak and communicate clearly and effectively. Imbalanced attributes would be shyness, being withdrawn, arrogance, and increased anxiety.
